HTML5 For Web Designers
Jul 16, 2010
I received my copy of HTML5 For Web Designers this past Tuesday and had it completely read by the next morning. This book spans just under 90 pages, and packs in almost every page with useful, easy-to-digest information on the future of Web Design, leaving all the overly detailed technical information out. Not only does it cover basic semantics of HTML5 and the new features such as rich media — the introductory portion covering the history of web markup and HTML5 was vital information that I had never bothered to research myself.
As the A Book Apart team states, most designers need “short, crisp precision tools that focus on a problem, solve it, and get out of the way.” I couldn’t agree more, and really enjoyed the format of these brief reads.
