The Monome 40h is a small, minimalist device comprising of a reconfigurable grid of sixty-four backlit buttons. Designed with “aesthetic minimalism,” the device alone doesn’t really do anything on its own according to its creator. It is up to anyone to use its interface as way to interact with music, games, or even math equations. As a fan of electronic music who has once owned a pair of Technics once before, I would love to get my hands on one of these just to play with the music experimentation. Unfortunately, they’ve been sold out for quite some time now.
